The LV/LVΑ elōs procedure is a high-tech medical aesthetic treatment on the Syneron eMax platform, which targets effectively vascular lesions, superficial phlebitis and telangiectasia (spider veins) within a few sessions.
The LV/LVΑ elōs treatment is non-invasive, fast, safe, with minimal recovery time and without needles.
The LV/LVΑ elōs is a non-invasive procedure that does not use needles like other available methods and can be applied for the treatment of various vascular conditions on the body.
Indications for treatment with LV/LVΑ elōs:
- Small resistant vascular lesions
- Superficial, blue colored veins
- Telangiectasia/spider veins.
How is the LV/LVA elōs treatment applied and how effective is it?
During treatment, Bi-Polar RF energy is released between two electrodes in the handpiece used. RF energy is highly controllable, which means the highest level of energy can be delivered accurately to each vein that is targeted. Built-in contact cooling protects the epidermis from unwanted damage and helps to keep the patient comfortable during the procedure.
Leg veins and telangiectasia can typically be resolved within 1-3 treatment sessions. Some other more difficult conditions may require more treatments. The LV/LVA elōs provides more accurate targeting of veins when compared to other laser technologies.
When are the results noticeable?
The number of sessions depend on the area being treated and on the extent of the problem. Typically, 3-4 sessions are required for each treatment area, with 1-month interval in between sessions. Superficial vascular lesions are easier to treat while larger veins may require a few additional treatments.
Results are noticeable after the 3rd or 4th week after treatment. Veins and lesions will become darker right after the treatment before they gradually begin to fade.
Are there any reactions to the treatment?
Adverse reactions with the LV/LVA elōs treatment are rare as the handpieces have built-in contact cooling to avoid any unwanted side effects. However, in some cases there might be light crusting, blistering and pigment changes on the treated area. These reactions are not permanent and will be resolved shortly after the treatment.
What other therapies can LV/LVA Leg vein treatment be combined with?
LV/LVA Leg vein treatment can be well combined with LPG as the draining mode of LPG will help increase microcirculation in the body.
